The Mannheim furnace is a specialized facility for the production of Potassium Sulfate using Potassium Chloride (KCl) and Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4) in the Mannheim Furnace reaction. It plays a crucial role in the chemical industry, contributing to the production of potassium-based fertilizers and various industrial chemicals.
The Chongqing Biogreen Engineering and Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called as CBETC) are specialized in overseas project contracting, particularly in fertilizer industry (potassium and phosphate fertilizer) and chemicals fields including chlor-alkali (caustic soda, calcium chloride, PVC, Bleaching powder, Hydrogen Peroxide etc.) and. We have contracted chemical projects in many countries like South Korea, Jordan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Egypt and etc.
For the Mannheim furnace, the CBETC's Battery Limit shall include SOP unit (Process equipment, internal piping/fittings/valve, MCC, instrumentation and DCS), granulation system, packing system, tank storage system and internal piping.
Other system or components, including but not limited to, water supply and drainage facilities, instrumental air supply system, power transformer/diesel generator, external piping, fire-fighting system, LAB, maintenance workshop, lighting facilities, HVAC, Tele-communication, labor protection, etc., shall be beyond CBETC's battery limit.

1) Agriculture: K2SO4, as a cheap potash fertilizer without chlorine, is mainly used for crops with high demand for kalium and with negative response to chloride, including tobacco, beet, grape, watermelon, potato, garlic and tea. K2SO4 can enhance quality of crops. For example, K2SO4 can improve the combustibility and color of tobacco and the saccharinity and color of berry and melon. A large amount of K2SO4 is used to produce N-P-K compound fertilizer.
2) Industry: K2SO4 is raw material to produce other precious kalium salts, which can be used as the clarifying agent in the glass industry, as the additive in food processing industry, as the laxative in the medicine and used to produce some dye intermediates in the dye industry.
